Through our utility privatization (UP) contracts with the federal government, CLP owns, operates and maintains the electrical distribution systems for military bases around the United States. Through our close working partnerships with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force, we are strongly committed to the men and women serving our country and their families.

CLP is proud to be a member of the Association of the United States Army, a nonprofit educational and professional development association serving America’s Army and supporters of a strong national defense. AUSA provides a voice for the Army, supports the soldier and honors those who have served in order to advance the security of the nation.
Made up entirely of volunteers, AUSA has 122 chapters located worldwide that provide recreational and educational opportunities to soldiers and their families. AUSA and its chapters contribute over $5,000,000 to awards, scholarships and support of soldier and family programs annually. Individual chapters support our soldiers and the civilians and families who work alongside of them in the local community.
CLP supports the Air Force Association.
CLP is proud to be a member of the Air Force Association. AFA is a volunteer-led organization connecting a 97,000-member community of airmen, guardians, families, civilians and others who commit their lives to protecting the greater good of our country. AFA offers life-changing grants for wounded warriors, scholarships for Air Force families and professional development opportunities.
For more than seven decades, the Air Force Association has worked with the private sector and the Air Force to ensure that the United States has the best equipment, systems and people to protect our country. AFA supports an enhanced partnership between the public and private sectors to keep the U.S. as the preeminent leader in air, space and cyberspace. CLP proudly supports these efforts.
CLP supports the Association of the United States Navy.
CLP is proud to be a member of the Association of the United States Navy (AUSN), the leading voice for America’s sailors. AUSN strongly supports American naval power, provides professional career development and scholarships and is the largest advocacy association for the Navy’s current and former sailors. AUSN members include active and reserve; officer, enlisted and civilian; serving, veteran and retired; and their families. Today AUSN members are drawn from the Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and friends and family of the military community.
AUSN is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and with chapters from Pearl Harbor to Long Island, the members of AUSN strive to advance the interests of the U.S. Navy and to protect the rights and benefits of its sailors.
CLP supports the Society of American Military Engineers.
The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is a 100-year-old professional association that leads collaboration among government and industry to develop multidisciplined solutions to national security infrastructure challenges. Formed in the aftermath of World War I, SAME promotes solidarity and cooperation between engineers in civil and military life, disseminates technical knowledge bearing upon progress in the art of war and the application of engineering science thereto, and preserves and maintains the best standards and traditions of the profession, all in the interests of patriotism and national security. Through 100 posts and field chapters, SAME unites public and private sector individuals and organizations from across the architecture, engineering, construction, environmental and facility management, cybersecurity, contracting and acquisition disciplines.
